I think I saw more than 20 peoples (in LA) with minis online last night. I thought A-Net limited it to only 20 peoples can show it off?

All in all I like to see them because it adds a new element to outposts.

It is my belief, though, that you should only be able to use them if your account is 12+ months old; they should be kept as what they started as - an object of prestige for loyal GW players. Then maybe they could release a new batch that could only be used if your account was 24+ months old, etc.

This way you keep the ability to trade and collect them by not restricting them in terms of making them customised for the character they were received as, but also keep their prestige and sign of age.

Whatever though. I don't use them personally. As everyone has access to them they just become meaningless.
